How Heartist Was Born
One afternoon with a close friend changed everything. She is a truly gifted artist — her sketches were full of life and feeling — but she earned almost nothing. People often asked her for free work. When she finally told me about her struggle, something in me shifted.
A few days later, while scrolling through Instagram reels, I saw artworks being promoted at prices that didn’t match their quality. I realized my friend’s work was as good — often better. I decided to give her art the value it deserved.
With experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, I learned pricing, ads, and positioning. We launched first as Instant Artwork — and on day two got our first order of ₹4,000. That first sale proved the idea.
But the name didn’t fit the soul of the brand. This was about feelings, stories, and love behind each piece — not just speed. So we became Heartist: “Where the Heart Meets Art.”
